under the tuscan sun

There’s something magical about the light in Tuscany — the way it wraps every moment in warmth and beauty. Christina and Raymond’s wedding took place under a radiant sky in the heart of Lucca, at the stunning Villa Daniela Grossi, one of the most elegant venues for destination weddings in Italy.

I first met Christina and Raymond almost a year and a half before their big day. Christina reached out after a friend — a bride from the previous year — recommended me as a photographer. From our very first video call, I felt an instant connection with them. We talked about their plans, the atmosphere they envisioned, and what my wedding photography coverage would include.

Halfway through explaining my process, Christina stopped me with a smile and said something I’ll never forget:

“I’m not here to decide — I already know. We want you for our wedding.”

That moment set the tone for everything that followed — easy, genuine, and full of trust.

When the wedding day finally arrived, meeting them in person felt like seeing old friends again. The villa was alive with laughter, energy, and that unmistakable Tuscan charm — olive trees, soft light, and music floating through the air.

Christina and Raymond were a joy to photograph: relaxed, spontaneous, and completely present with each other. Their family and friends were just as warm and full of life — the kind of people who make you forget you’re working because you’re truly enjoying every moment.

I had the pleasure of capturing their story both in photography and video, blending the two seamlessly. While covering both can be challenging, that day it felt effortless. The rhythm, the emotion, the people — everything just clicked.

The right couple always makes the work flow naturally. With Christina and Raymond, it was exactly that: a celebration full of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments that I’ll always remember
